Aquaponics (IPA: /ˈækwəˈpɒnɪks/) is a self-watering closed-loop system that uses fish effluent and plants in a complementing recirculating enviroment to grow vegetables at an accelerated rate. Here you will find out about different systems you can build, it can be as small as a 10 gallon tank or a large scale commercial setup!

I was just wondering if anyone on this forum is a member of the Hawaii Aquaculture (& Aquaponics) Association. If so how do we go about joining? With their name change I'm sure this will be the largest AP group in the islands and will be a great asset for all of us AP'ers.

Aloha All
Regarding the ones that are looking to join the Hawaii Aquaculture Aquaponics Association. Glenn Martinez from Olomana Gardens sits on the Board of Directors for this group. It was Glenn who recommended having the Aquaponics added into their name. Please send me your information and I will make contact with Glenn or Ron (President) and others regarding your request to enroll in their organization.
Glenn's email is OlomanaGardens@hawaii.rr.com and mine name is Natalie and email me at SistahCash@gmail.com.
I also have the forms and will make sure that it gets to them (the organization).
  Hope this helps.
Aloha,
Natalie Cash
